In order to ensure a quality product, we've decided to push back the release of the new KryptonWare iConsole Web Player to Q1 2012. Among the specific technical reasons for this delay are our insistence that the NES APU not suffer from the same technical issues that other web-based emulation solutions suffer from. We'd also like to utilize this additional time to improve game compatibility. Current tests already indicate that some games that don't work in vNES do work in the iConsole Web Player, but we're striving for much higher compatibility than is currently available. Additional work is needed to ensure optimum performance on a broader range of computers, including low-end Windows XP workstations.

We're also improving the user interface and debugging features of the new Vonsole Desktop Player, an offline version of the iConsole Web Player.

Vonsole was redesigned with size and usability in mind. Light weight, with a new look. Very stable design that will stay for a while. Running at only 49KB will insure fast download and startups. a new settings file to tweak.

Mappers 66 and 71 were written. We have found out a lot from writing these mappers. We've also identified some minor shortcomings of our implementation of the 2C02 (PPU). so we will pivot our focus back to working on the core hardware, which includes further improvements to the 2A03 (pAPU).

Right now, Vonsole can play about 30.8523% of all NES games, and only 8 simple mappers has been implemented. We're well on our way to reaching 90%.
